The vacatur of a criminal conviction can have a life changing impact on a survivor of Human Trafficking, allowing them to move forward with obtaining a degree and/or employment. Legal assistance to accomplish this goal is available for free in many States, but both survivors and lawyers who may be able to volunteer to assist them remain unaware. This session discusses the use of the ECHO method of information sharing to spread the word on this important issue and the remedies available.
