Apply for Internships
Apply for our Spring 2026 Internship Program on Handshake or LinkedIn from FEB 5-15
The New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking offers a semester long internship program for college students.
We’re seeking passionate, creative, self-motivated, and driven individuals from diverse backgrounds to join us in the fight against human trafficking. We believe that academic performance is not a definitive measure of a candidate’s abilities or a predictor of their future success. Every candidate will be interviewed and considered based on their unique strengths and qualities.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn directly from survivors, collaborate on a range of impactful projects, and gain valuable skills in presenting, lobbying, fundraising, and more.
This internship will primarily be conducted virtually to ensure accessibility for all applicants. While this is an unpaid position, the knowledge, skills, and connections you will gain are invaluable. Degree credit may be available depending on your institution’s guidelines; we will work with you to help facilitate credit when possible.
Please note that the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking only offers volunteer-based internships. We do not offer summer internships.
Go to Handshake or LinkedIn to apply!
We look forward to hearing about your interest in helping to prevent human trafficking.
OUR INTERNSHIP HISTORY
Before we moved to our very popular semester based internship program in 2025, we ran Winter Internship Programs for 7 years.
EMPOWERING STUDENTS HAS BEEN PART OF OUR HISTORY
We thank and applaud to the many interns and their leaders who participated in and ran incredible Winter Break Team Internship Programs for 7 years. We are also grateful to Kean University's Human Rights Institute for partnering with us for many of those years.
